Book quiz: spot the sequel
Book lovers will definitely know about some sequels to famous novels. These can be in series – the sequels to the Harry Potter, Twilight, and Hunger Games books for instance – or initially unplanned. Much discussion was caused in 2015 when Harper Lee’s second novel, Go Set a Watchman, was billed as a follow-up to To Kill a Mockingbird (though we later learned that it was an earlier version), while classics like Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, The House at Pooh Corner by A. A. Milne, and Women in Love by D. H. Lawrence are sequels to earlier successes.
Some sequels are much less well known than their predecessors, though. Were you aware that Catch-22 had a sequel? Or The Hundred and One Dalmatians? Take our quiz on tricky sequels, and see how well you know the younger siblings of literature.
